Full Product Description

Meco 1kWh Pro — Full Home Backup at 8.9 Kilograms

The Meco 1kWh Pro Solar Generator delivers 1004.8Wh of lithium iron phosphate capacity and 500W of pure sine wave output from a unit weighing just 8.9kg and measuring 257 × 210 × 208.5 mm — small enough for a shelf, a countertop, or the boot of a car.

Inside is an all-in-one system: MPPT controller, inverter, battery and BMS integrated into a single enclosure. No wiring, no installer, no separate components to match. Plug it in and it works.

GaN Technology — 92% Conversion Efficiency

The 1kWh Pro uses gallium nitride (GaN) power electronics rather than conventional silicon. GaN switches faster and wastes less energy as heat, delivering 92% conversion efficiency — which means more of your stored energy reaches your appliances, and the unit runs cooler and lighter than silicon-based equivalents at the same capacity.

This is why the 1kWh Pro weighs 8.9kg when comparable 1kWh all-in-one units commonly weigh 12kg or more.

8000-Cycle LiFePO4 Battery

Built around a 314Ah Grade-A lithium iron phosphate cell rated for 8,000 charge cycles. Charged daily, that is over twenty years of cycling — and eight to sixteen times the life of the lead-acid and NMC lithium batteries commonly sold at this capacity. LiFePO4 is also the most thermally stable lithium chemistry available.

Wide Voltage Input — Built for Unstable Grids

The 1kWh Pro accepts 90V–280V AC at 45–65Hz, so it charges from grid supply that would shut down or damage a narrower-range unit. For markets where voltage sags to 100V and spikes past 250V within the same hour, wide-range input is the difference between a system that charges and one that sits idle.

Dual Input — Grid and Solar

Charge from mains at up to 500W, or from solar panels at 12–60V DC. The built-in MPPT controller extracts maximum available power from your array without an external charge controller, making a single panel plus the 1kWh Pro a complete off-grid kit.

Mains input over-voltage and under-voltage · overcurrent · short circuit · over-temperature · low temperature · battery operation safety · photovoltaic input over-voltage and under-voltage · photovoltaic reverse polarity.

Certified to UN38.3 and IEC62368, with full test reports, MSDS and transport classification documents published for download — a level of documentation transparency uncommon in this category.

Backed by MEGMEET Core Technology

The 1kWh Pro is built on power electronics technology from MEGMEET, an established manufacturer in industrial power conversion. Meco is a pioneer of large-cell home energy storage system design, using single high-capacity cells rather than dozens of small ones — fewer connections, fewer failure points, longer service life.

Ideal For

Apartments and compact homes · shops and kiosks · study desks and home offices · routers, decoders, CCTV and POS backup · car fridges and camping · small off-grid setups

Frequently Asked Questions

How much power does the Meco 1kWh Pro hold?
The Meco 1kWh Pro holds 1004.8Wh of LiFePO4 capacity with 500W of pure sine wave output. That runs an LED lamp for 50 hours, a 30W fan for 33 hours, a 60W laptop for 16 hours, a 100W TV for 10 hours, or charges a 2942mAh phone 90 times.

How much does the Meco 1kWh Pro weigh?
The Meco 1kWh Pro weighs 8.9kg and measures 257 × 210 × 208.5 mm. That is roughly 25% lighter than comparable 1kWh all-in-one units, made possible by gallium nitride power electronics that reduce heat and component bulk.

What is GaN technology and why does it matter?
Gallium nitride (GaN) replaces conventional silicon in the Meco 1kWh Pro's power electronics. GaN switches faster and dissipates less energy as heat, giving the unit 92% conversion efficiency. In practice this means more stored energy reaches your appliances, and the unit runs cooler and weighs less than silicon-based equivalents.

What appliances can the Meco 1kWh Pro power?
The Meco 1kWh Pro delivers 500W of continuous output, covering lights, fans, phones, laptops, routers, decoders, TVs, projectors, car fridges, CCTV and POS terminals. Appliances drawing over 500W, such as electric kettles, irons, microwaves and air conditioners, exceed its output.

Can the Meco 1kWh Pro handle unstable grid voltage?
Yes. The Meco 1kWh Pro accepts an AC input range of 90V to 280V at 45 to 65Hz, so it continues charging through the voltage sags and spikes that shut down narrower-range equipment. Mains input over-voltage and under-voltage protection are both built in.

How long will the Meco 1kWh Pro battery last?
The Meco 1kWh Pro uses a 314Ah lithium iron phosphate cell rated for 8,000 charge cycles. At one cycle per day that is over twenty years, and eight to sixteen times the cycle life of lead-acid or NMC lithium batteries at comparable capacity.

Can the Meco 1kWh Pro be charged with solar panels?
Yes. The Meco 1kWh Pro has a built-in MPPT controller accepting 12V to 60V DC solar input, so no external charge controller is required. Photovoltaic over-voltage, under-voltage and reverse polarity protection are all included.

Is the Meco 1kWh Pro safe to use indoors?
Yes. The Meco 1kWh Pro uses lithium iron phosphate chemistry, the most thermally stable lithium battery type, and produces no fumes, exhaust or carbon monoxide unlike petrol generators. It is certified to UN38.3 and IEC62368 and includes eight protection systems covering voltage, current, short circuit and temperature faults.

Can the Meco 1kWh Pro be used outdoors?
The Meco 1kWh Pro carries an IP20 rating, which protects against solid objects but offers no protection against water or dust ingress. It is suitable for indoor use, vehicles, and covered outdoor areas, but should not be exposed to rain, spray or damp conditions.

What temperature range does the Meco 1kWh Pro operate in?
The Meco 1kWh Pro operates and stores between 0°C and 40°C, at elevations up to 3000m, and in relative humidity from 10% to 90%. It includes both over-temperature and low-temperature protection.

Does the Meco 1kWh Pro require installation?
No. The Meco 1kWh Pro is an all-in-one plug-and-play unit with MPPT controller, inverter, battery and BMS built into a single enclosure. There is no wiring, wall mounting or installer required — plug it into mains, plug your appliances into it, and it works.

Who makes the Meco 1kWh Pro?
The Meco 1kWh Pro is made by Shenzhen Meco New Energy Co., Ltd., based in Guangming District, Shenzhen, China, using power electronics technology from MEGMEET.
