Full Product Description

Meco 1kWh Solar Generator — Essential Backup, 8.9kg

The Meco 1kWh Solar Generator puts 1004.8Wh of lithium iron phosphate capacity and 300W of pure sine wave output into an 8.9kg unit measuring 257 × 210 × 208.5 mm. Small enough for a desk, a shelf, or a shop counter — and enough energy to keep lights, fans, phones, laptops and a TV running through a full evening outage.

Everything is inside one enclosure: MPPT controller, inverter, battery and BMS. No wiring, no installer, no separate components to source and match.

314Ah Large Cell, 8000 Cycles

Meco builds around single large-format LiFePO4 cells rather than assembling dozens of small ones. Fewer cells means fewer interconnections, fewer failure points, and more consistent performance across the pack's life.

The 314Ah cell is rated for 8,000 charge cycles. Charged once daily, that is over twenty years of service — eight to sixteen times the life of the lead-acid and NMC lithium batteries commonly sold at this capacity. Lithium iron phosphate is also the most thermally stable lithium chemistry available.

GaN Technology — 92% Conversion Efficiency

The 1kWh uses gallium nitride (GaN) power electronics in place of conventional silicon. GaN switches faster and loses less energy as heat, delivering 92% conversion efficiency. More of your stored energy reaches your appliances, and the unit runs cooler and lighter than silicon-based equivalents — which is how a full 1kWh system arrives at 8.9kg.

Dual Input — Grid and Solar

Charge from mains at 150V–270V, 45–65Hz, up to 350W, or from solar panels at 12–60V DC. The MPPT controller is built in, so a single compatible panel plus the 1kWh forms a complete off-grid kit with no external charge controller required.

Eight Protection Systems

Mains input over-voltage and under-voltage · overcurrent · short circuit · over-temperature · low temperature · battery operation safety · photovoltaic input over-voltage and under-voltage · photovoltaic reverse polarity.

Certified to UN38.3 and IEC62368, with the full UN38.3 test report, test summary, MSDS, hazardous characteristics classification, and sea, air and road transport classification reports all published for download. For distributors and wholesalers arranging import and freight, that documentation is available upfront rather than on request.

Backed by MEGMEET Core Technology

Built on power conversion technology from MEGMEET, an established manufacturer in industrial power electronics. Meco is a pioneer of large-cell home energy storage system design.

Ideal For

Apartments and compact homes · shops, kiosks and market stalls · study desks and home offices · routers, decoders and CCTV backup · car fridges and covered outdoor use · entry-level off-grid setups

Choosing Between the 1kWh and the 1kWh Pro

Both models share the same 1004.8Wh battery, 8.9kg weight and dimensions. The 1kWh Pro adds 500W output (versus 300W), a wider 90V–280V input range (versus 150V–270V), and faster charging at 500W (versus 350W). Choose the Pro if your grid voltage drops below 150V, if you need to run loads above 300W, or if faster recharge matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much power does the Meco 1kWh Solar Generator hold?
The Meco 1kWh Solar Generator holds 1004.8Wh of LiFePO4 capacity with 300W of pure sine wave output. That runs an LED lamp for 50 hours, a 30W fan for 33 hours, a 60W laptop for 16 hours, a 100W TV for 10 hours, or charges a 2942mAh phone 90 times.

What appliances can the Meco 1kWh Solar Generator power?
The Meco 1kWh Solar Generator delivers 300W of output, covering lights, fans, phones, laptops, routers, decoders, TVs, projectors, car fridges, CCTV and pet feeders. Appliances drawing more than 300W, including most household refrigerators, electric kettles, irons, microwaves and air conditioners, exceed its output. The Meco 1kWh Pro offers 500W for larger loads.

What is the difference between the Meco 1kWh and the Meco 1kWh Pro?
Both models use the same 1004.8Wh LiFePO4 battery, weigh 8.9kg and share identical dimensions. The Meco 1kWh Pro delivers 500W of output versus 300W, accepts a wider 90V to 280V grid input versus 150V to 270V, and charges at up to 500W versus 350W. Choose the Pro for larger appliances, faster charging, or areas where mains voltage falls below 150V.

How much does the Meco 1kWh Solar Generator weigh?
The Meco 1kWh Solar Generator weighs 8.9kg and measures 257 × 210 × 208.5 mm. Gallium nitride power electronics reduce heat and component bulk, allowing a full 1kWh system to weigh substantially less than comparable all-in-one units.

How long will the Meco 1kWh battery last?
The Meco 1kWh Solar Generator uses a 314Ah lithium iron phosphate cell rated for 8,000 charge cycles. At one cycle per day that is over twenty years, and eight to sixteen times the cycle life of lead-acid or NMC lithium batteries at comparable capacity.

Can the Meco 1kWh Solar Generator be charged with solar panels?
Yes. The Meco 1kWh Solar Generator has a built-in MPPT controller accepting 12V to 60V DC solar input at up to 200W, so no external charge controller is required. Photovoltaic over-voltage, under-voltage and reverse polarity protection are all included.

What grid voltage does the Meco 1kWh Solar Generator accept?
The Meco 1kWh Solar Generator charges from mains supply between 150V and 270V at 45 to 65Hz, drawing up to 350W. If mains voltage in your area frequently drops below 150V, the Meco 1kWh Pro accepts a wider 90V to 280V range.

Is the Meco 1kWh Solar Generator safe to use indoors?
Yes. The Meco 1kWh Solar Generator uses lithium iron phosphate chemistry, the most thermally stable lithium battery type, and produces no fumes, exhaust or carbon monoxide unlike petrol generators. It is certified to UN38.3 and IEC62368 and includes eight protection systems covering voltage, current, short circuit and temperature faults.

Can the Meco 1kWh Solar Generator be used outdoors?
The Meco 1kWh Solar Generator carries an IP20 rating, which offers no protection against water or dust ingress. It is suitable for indoor use, vehicles and covered outdoor areas, but should not be exposed to rain, spray or damp conditions.

What temperature range does the Meco 1kWh Solar Generator operate in?
The Meco 1kWh Solar Generator operates and stores between 0°C and 40°C, at elevations up to 3000m, and in relative humidity from 10% to 90%. Both over-temperature and low-temperature protection are built in.

Does the Meco 1kWh Solar Generator require installation?
No. The Meco 1kWh Solar Generator is an all-in-one plug-and-play unit with MPPT controller, inverter, battery and BMS in a single enclosure. There is no wiring, wall mounting or installer required.

Who makes the Meco 1kWh Solar Generator?
The Meco 1kWh Solar Generator is made by Shenzhen Meco New Energy Co., Ltd., based in Guangming District, Shenzhen, China, using power electronics technology from MEGMEET.
